Have you ever wanted to create woodworking projects at home but found the task to be too frustrating and difficult? I know both my husband and I have felt that way too. We know that we can save a lot of money by creating our own wood projects plans, but have had a hard time. Recently however, I came across a program that is full of wood projects plans for every type of project you can imagine. Let me share a bit about it with you.
The first thing you should know is that this program contains over 16,000 project plans and designs, including schematics, blueprints, dimensions and material lists. Nothing is left for you to have to guess on. The plans are clearly drawn and easy to follow. You also get a step-by-step explanation of how to put the plan together, as well as picture tutorials.
There are several other sites whose collection of plans have the dimensions totally wrong without any indication of parts lists, material lists or the tools needed. If you're one of those people who have bought plans like this in the past, TedsWoodworking will change your perception.
If you are a beginner or have done some woodworking you will find these wood projects plans easy-to-follow. As an added bonus, there are some videos that show you how to build benches, furniture for your home, dog houses, bird feeds, sheds and more.
From what we can see, Ted Mcgrath is a very dedicated and experienced woodworker who knows what he is talking about when it comes to woodworking and DIY projects. He has a very good way of teaching these projects.
There is only one drawback to the Wood Projects Plans program that we could find and that being with 16,000 woodworking plans you are bound to get some which look a little disorganized but that is understandable as it is very difficult to place all these plans into their proper categories. Secondly, it might take you a little longer to do the downloads because of their size. However, there is a members area that includes an option to upgrade to DVD's so you down't have to download the plans.
The bottom line is that the amount of information, designs and plans schematics received in this program is amazing. I have not seen anything like this online. If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you SHOULD use, it's something that you would be insane not to.
